sulvam の名は「即興演奏」に由来します。
服作りは、音を奏で合う一人一人が交わり成立する即興演奏がそうであるように、服もまた一人では成立しません。
そこに関わる一人一人の感性や技術が交わり、奏で合うことで、成立するものです。
そして、即興演奏のように自由な発想から生まれる感覚。
テーラリングをベースにし、ある瞬間の感情や偶然、直感。
それらが奏であい、その先に生まれるもの。
それが sulvam です。
服はあくまでも服。
主役は人。
あなたに寄り添える服を。
The name “sulvam” comes from the idea of improvisation.
Just as an improvised performance is created through the interaction of each individual musician, clothing cannot be created by one person alone.
It comes to life when the sensibilities and skills of everyone involved come together and resonate with one another.
Like improvisation itself, sulvam is born from a sense of freedom—
from tailoring as its foundation, shaped by emotions in a particular moment, chance, and intuition.
When these elements come together and resonate,
something new emerges.
That is sulvam.
Clothing is, after all, just clothing.
The person is the protagonist.
Clothing that can exist alongside you.

１９８４年産まれ。千葉県柏市出身。
10代の頃より、セレクトショップでの販売員、またコレクションブランドにてパターンメイカーとして勤務。
２０１４年株式会社サルバム設立。
Autumn/winter 2014よりsulvamスタート。
Teppei Fujita
Born in 1984 in Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan.
From his teenage years, Fujita worked as a sales associate at select shops, while also gaining experience as a pattern maker for collection-based fashion brands.
In 2014, he established sulvam.ltd, and launched sulvam with the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.
